Lincoln receives the Presidential nomination in May of 1860 and already copies of this book were appearing all over the Eastern U.S., from New York to Chicago. A near fine copy bound in publisher's brown cloth, spine lettering gilt, one bumped corner, yellow endpapers, bookseller's ticket on rear pastedown of Washington, D.C's Big Book Shop. An exceptionally nice copy, internally fresh.
