Presentation copy. Signed and inscribed by the author George Zabriskie dated 1953. 142 pages, illustrated by Aase Skotting and include a few photographic images. Besides her many children's books, she also wrote: Paris, I love you. The author's papers are at North Central College. A lovely copy in a fine presentation binding of 3/4 green crushed morocco over marbled paper covered boards, spine inlaid with a decorative brown strip of morocco lettered in gilt, matching marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Nice.
