Color frontispiece, xv, 270 pages, 32 unnumbered pages of illustrations by Dick Williams and with a special photographic section from the author's private collection. A wealth of attitude on bears not only in terms of hunting and trapping but biological facts. The vast amount of his hunting was in British Columbia and Alaska. This book was "authorized and for the benefit of The Great Bear Foundation." A fine copy bound in dark blue leather centrally stamped in gilt, pictorial spine gilt, housed in publisher's original slipcase.
