Hundreds of mountain goats were seen, and some of them were photographed with the animals only four to twelve feet from the instrument. A number of these views are startling, for Mr. Phillips often clambered out on the almost precipitous face of the rocks in his enthusiasm to secure good negatives. One of the finest classics on the Big Mountain Goats. A very good copy bound in green cloth, central pastedown depicting a big horned sheep framed in gilt, spine lettering and top edge gilt, bump to lower edge of upper board, light rubbing to corners and joints Previous owner's name dated September, 1908.
