Barrett consider this the finest work on this remarkable epistle. The 16 excursions deal in depth with issues that often puzzle readers, e.g.," Paul's punishment and Roman law", the "thorn" in the flesh, and many other issues here dealt with in depth for the first time. A fine set bound in green cloth, centrally stamped in blind, spines lettered and ruled in gilt. Very nice.
