Graham, an archaeologist from England to Easter Island where ancient horror is discovered and combated. It was submitted in manuscript form to H.P. Lovecraft. According to Jaffrey "in the opinion of some present researcher, [it] belonged to Lovecraft's "Cthulhul Mythos". (see Donald Tuck, The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction and Fantasy. A near fine copy bound in black cloth, spine lettering gilt, one corner lightly bumped, in a near fine unclipped pictorial dust jacket lightly rubbed or nicked along the spine. Very nice.
