The author includes an up-to-date treatment of the Hurrian question in Palestine and the Near East in general. A special problem is the date on which began the imports of Cypriote pottery which gradually increased during LBA I, and the significance of this phenomenon in the historical and cultural development of Canaan in the 16th century. A near fine copy bound in dark blue cloth lettered and stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt, one corner slightly bumped, in a near fine pictorial dust jacket with a closed edge tear.
