127 pages. Limited to 500 copies. The present copy is #138. IllustratedThe first year book of the Mayflower descendants was established in New York in 1894 (other states followed later). Beautifully printed on the finest laid paper with wide margins. The symbols of the decendents are hand colored, e.g., "The Flag of the General Society, New York" . The ancestors of the members lists those descendent from: John Alden, William Bradford (e.g., George Bird Grinnell [tenth in descent], Myles Standish, and all cross-referenced for precise genealogical notes. Much on the speeches given in 1895 that led to the publication of this very important volume. Bound in full original calf stamped in blind of the society (New York) on the front cover, spine darkened, upper joint rubbed and just a bit fragile but not broken. Very rare, copies are in most of the New York special libraries or of families that are direct descendents.
