He was responsible for the 1919 expedition that provided evidence supporting Einstein's General Theory of Relativity. He also investigated the interior of the stars and developed the first true understanding of stellar processes. A near fine copy bound in blue cloth, spine lettering gilt, very minute bump to one corner, in dust jacket with a stamped price of $1.50 lettered and decorated in red and black, chipping along the upper edges, some toning to edges and spine.
