It remains an important reference to understanding and seeing the organization (Pages ix-xiii is the original subscriber's list (many of whom served or died in World War I). Occasional pencil notes by a very serious researcher are found at several points in the book. scattered foxing, mostly marginal. Bound in full rich black leather trimmed in gilt and blind, raised bands with compartments lettered and decorated in gilt, housed in a nice cloth case with pastedown from the original binding.
