Frontispiece, 105 pages, 3 publisher's advertisements, illustrated by A. Hennen Broadwood. An iimagined medieval romance (supposedly edited by Evelyn Forstyth (1851-1930) which claimed to be based on a medieval manuscript discovered by one Griffith Boan in 1512. The witty, deliberately archaized misadventures of Lady Anne are set partly in italic and partly black letter. Anna Hennen Broadwood was the engraver. A Victorian look back at the middle ages. Bound in pictorial paper(faux vellum) covered card stock, some edge tears to upper edge of front panel and spine with some toning. A very good copy.
