These letters by and about John Paul Jones were translated from the French by Helen Dwight Fisher, A lovely copy bound in 1/4 dark blue cloth over blue paper covered boards, top edge gilt, paper spine label. A near fine copy in near fine unclipped beige dust jacket with spine lettering in red and black, toning around the edges, closed edge tera to rear panel, minute closed edge tear to head, and a scuff mark, house within publisher's paper covered slipcase, paper spine label, foot of slipcase apparently reglued to prevent splitting, a few tiny nicks to corners. In all, a very nice clean, bright copy.
