Episodes in the Life of a Young Married Couple (An Erotic Poem of 233 Lines, Typed Describing Sex Rarely Using the Traditional Four Letter Words)

Quarto. Item #029548

5 pages, typed original.Unlike the Tiajuana Bibles (also called 8 page literatures), this very graphic description of a man and woman in the throngs of passion is suprisingly literate though not with the excellence of a Robert Frost in poetry though indicating a good knowledge of vocabulary; nevertheless, it is a remarkable description of copulation. Judging from the paper, typescript and language it would appear to have been written in the early half of the 20th Century. His use of the word "pussie" [sic] is an archaic spelling found only in the OED 1790 by A. Tait. It would seem his use of the term marriage was intended for protection against morals police since clearly in the larger part of the 20th century this would have been considered pornographic and could not be sent through the mails. He does use the forbidden "c" word twice but has a sufficiently wide choice of words to describe sexual relations in a reasonably literary fashion. We do not know the author but judge the item to be of interest as a very long effort (233 lines) for an act that usually can take place in a much briefer time. We can supply a few brief examples to prospective purchasers.
