Laid in is the original two typed pages of her novel that originally was to be entitled "Back to the Books" with her handwritten corrections (see image). Issued only in a small paperback edition, this novel is set in Cornwall and Oxford when Ellen, a scholar from America some upon a mystery akin to issues rooted in 17th century England and still faced today in terms of unexplained death. Doebler was a specialist on the issues of death in Elizabethan England. Bound in pictorial stiff paper wraps. Near fine.
