Four Irish Pictures with Word Pictures By Ruddick Millar. Foreward bny Gilbert Fabes

[Quota Press, Guernsey, Channel Islands, 1938]. Octavo. Item #029102

18pp., four full page illustrations. J.R.R. Adams, "The Quota Press; a preliminary review: (Linen Hall Review, Vol. III, no. 1) Spring, 1986) Ulster was the center for these small print runs. OCLC reports this item only in the British Library, The National Library of Scotland, and the University of Michigan. The very scarce dust jacket has a different subtitle: "with literary illustrations". Doris Kennedy, a county Antrim woman, was the genius behind this small press. Although Adams had access to the British Library, he was unable to find a copy of this book. Near fine bound in stiff tan paper wraps lettered in black, in a pale blue unclipped pictorial dust jacket with some toning to edges, a few tiny chips and a closed tear to lower corner of front panel. A very scarce item.

Price: $275.00
