The Othic system of shorthand allowed scholars and court reporters to quickly copy the spoken word with remarkable accuracy. Examples printed in small print runs in the 1890's were the method, the Book of Psalms and the New Testament. The Office of Technical Education in London used this volume in their classes on Orthic understanding. Bound in gray cloth lettered in black, spine lettering black, minor rubbing to spine ends.
