180 pages, maps. index. Expanded from the 164 page version with full page color maps of Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and California, etc., (many photographic images including several on Nevada. The maps of Arizona and New Mexico were issued just four years before they moved from Territories to becoming states. Bound in green cloth lettered and pictorially stamped in gilt, spine plain, wear through to corners and spine ends, some spotting to both boards, front inner hinge starting. There were two issues: One with a folding map of California and one without. This copy is without the folding map. A very good copy.
