In addition, there are two fishing stories and a tale of a fox's triumph over his would-be hunters. The stories are illustrated with a frontispiece, eight additional plates by A.B. Wenzell, W.C. Greenough, and W. Hamilton Gibson. Bound in the original publisher's brick-colored cloth, centrally stamped with cream medallion stamped in gilt, framed in a decorative silver, corner flourishes in gilt and silver. spine and rear cover lettered and decoratively stamped in silver and gilt, top edge gilt. A fine copy.
