73 pages, the first book by Elizabeth Gordon in the "Little People" series. What made the series additionally popular were the magical illustrations of M.T. (Penny) Ross, who was one of Walt Disney's first co-workers who later developed Buster Brown and "Mama's Angel Child). She went on to work with a total of nine of Elizabeth Gordon's books. A very good copy in orange pictorial paper covered boards, in the very rare pictorial dust jacket though fragile with chips and part of the spine of jacket has adhered to the spine of the book. Previous owner's gift inscription.
