xxiv, 471 pages. with maps. Sir Henry Banbury's work is both brilliant and perceptive (Piers Makesy in Army Historical Research, 2001). The two narratives are of both the North Holland expedition of 1799 and the Egyptian Campaign of 1801 which he had been briefed by Sir John Moore. These two narratives were written several years prior this publication and a few copies of each privately printed in 1849 and 1851. A handsome copy rebound in 1/4 blue polished calf over marbled paper covered boards, raised bands rule in gilt, red leather spine label gilt, endpapers renewed.
