Limited to 500 copies of which this is #204. 28 pages, color engravings by John Petts. A fine copy in original glassine which has some wear along edges. This is a reply to Against Women [Araith Ddychan i'r Gwragedd) which was written in the 16th century. William Cynwal answered this in 1585 though the author of the original negative item had already died. This lovely book was designed by Christopher Sandford of the Golden Cockerell Press. The artists John Petts was known for his fine work in stained glass and design on small books of poetry.
