Privately Printed, 1926. Limited Editioin. Octavo. Item #028475

13 pages of an edition of 100 copies. Don Blanding had read his poem about a virgin who had no interest in changing her status until she was given (fiendishly) a copy of Vermillion Sin" (an unpublished novel) by Elinor Glyn who created the term "it" girl who referred to the girl with electric sex appeal. Clara Bow, Rudolf Valentino, and Gloria Swanson were all influenced by her. Jimmy Starr a Hollywood gossip columnist from the 1920's acquired a large part of the library of Valentino which is noted in this bookplate. Bound in 1/4 tan cloth over paper covered boards, paper spine label lettered in black. A near fine copy with just a bit of off-setting to endpapers.

Price: $325.00
