24 pages. A very special edition limited to 26 copies, designed and handbound by Mark and Linda Sanders who began the work in their Saltbush Studio in 1991 and completed in 1993. Bound in a special relief depicting the Santa Cruz Mountains with a slipcase designed to allow it to fit in. These copies have become very rare. This depicts the waves of various peoples trailing the Santa Cruz river in southern Arizona. The author writes about the earliest Indian settlers, the coming of the Jesuits especially Father Kino, the white explorers and early settlers along the Santa Cruz and the area known as Tucson. This copy is letter N of 26 and is signed by Bernard L. Fontana; Mark Sanders and Linda Sanders.
