One of the classic Presidential autobiographies including not only his years in office but his early days in Missouri, his family life, and his appraisals of world leaders and events. A fine, sharp cornered set bound in black cloth with Truman's name stamped in silver to upper boards, spine lettering white blocked in blue, top edges green, in first issue, unclipped dust jackets lettered and decorated in black, red and blue, a small piece torn away on upper joint, with chipping to spine ends and corners with just a bit of toning to spines. A very handsome set.
