A small 4 page bifolium with three pages to Eleanor Eden, daughter of Lord and Lady Auchland, who was herself a novelist, whose aunt, Emily Eden, had published two volumes on India. Eleanor Eden had just written Longfellow a "kind note" accompanied with photographs (not present here) that came from Lady Auchland along with the "precious souvenirs of Wells" (Lord Auchland had written volumes on both Bath and Wells) thanking her as well for the treatment they had received at the Palace.
