Besides dealing with the towns of the county, there is separate chapter on the Bench and Bar, the Churches, the Schools, the Architecture, Journalism, Freemasonry, Horse Breeding, and the Diary farms. Orange county set up New York's first creamery as well as was the first in the state to ship milk by rail. Bound in red cloth, lettering gilt over black, spines gilt over black, a near fine set with tiny corner bumps.
