The artists is of Navaho and Hopi heritage and is a world-renowned master of painterly inlay, whose work is considered in the heritage of the Renaissance goldsmiths. He explains this as his birthright: "I grew up with beauitul songs and prayers. The way that I do things is not so much because I want to, but it was instilled in me and that's the way it comes out." In his work are 175 color plates by the acclaimed photographer Togashi. The jewelery he made is quite stunning.
