Broadside measuring 8 1/2" x 6 3/4" among one of William Cheney's earliest items, who began as shipping clerk in Dawson's Book shop and learned to print uner Thomas Perry Stickler. He worked at Grant Dahlstrom's Castle Press and Lillian Mark's Plantin Press before buying his own press in 1950 when he began printing for the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library and his friend Lawrence Clark Powell, he later became devoted to creating miniature books.
