One of her most important novels dealing with a family during the 1930s, set in the hill country of northeast Mississippi. Printed on special paper and specially bound in green cloth, upper board lettered in gilt, spine gilt over brown, in original acetate wrapper with tape mended tear and in publisher's slipcase. A very nice, bright copy.
