Zwickau; (1930): F. Ullman. Quarto. Item #027495
27 unnumbered pages. A transcription with fascmile manuscripts of the correspondence between Dante and Henry VII. Dante's political concern was clearly for the unification of Italy though his overall view of government and monarchy has a much broader concern. Here is one of the more scarce items on his thought--the originals are in the Biblioteca Nazionale centrale di Roma (and the Marciana). Bound in stiff brow paper wraps lettered in silver. A very nice copy with just a few wrinkles to wraps.
