Like Thorpe, his interests were wide and varied, both in such areas as theoretical physics and scientific instruments and their measurement. Beginning with the Baltic, he also contributed to the standards used on explorations of the polar regions. Bound in light green wrappers printed in black, inscription to right upper corner, light damp staining to outer margins, upper corners of leaves somewhat creased. A very good copy.
