Foreword By Harry Tennison, Profusely illustrated with photographs from William Negley's private collection. It was often thought elephants could not be hunted with a bow and arrow, but he proved that idea false. He had earlier hunter with high powered rifles but he felt those too easy. Even Howard Hill, the greatest of the archers, had never gotten an elephant except where one had been wounded in its knee. Here is a fascinating account by a man who credits the great archers whom he considers his superior but nevertheless he managed to find a niche for himself. A fine copy custom bound in ground leather stamped in gilt depicting an elephant, pictorial spine gilt, housed in publisher' fine slipcase.
