Limited to 950 copies, the present copy is #639 signed by the author. Unopened, printed on fine hand-made paper, color frontispiece, 298 pages, select bibliography, illustrated by T.J. Harter. When Ernest E. Lee sought to locate the El Tigre (the Mexican Jaguar), which were thought only to be south of the U.S. border, but like the onza they found them in Arizona. Jack O'Connor spoke of their importance and then in this masterful work he details the game which while not plentiful, he had seen in Arizona in the 1930's. Bound in in green cloth lettered in gilt, spine lettering gilt, one corner lightly bumped light wear to spine ends. A very nice copy.
