129 pages, illustrated with maps, plans, and portraits. This copy inscribed "To Another Hoosier--Katherine Switzer Bolt, August 28, 1970". Laid in is a long letter on Dogwood Farm stationary signed by the author with 12 lines where she writes of her life and her joy to share Indiana History, and she tells how book was prepared and how without a publisher she got a nice hardcover produced. A very good copy bound in green cloth stamped in gilt, spine lettering gilt.
