A catalog for the exhibition of the works created on the basis of the competition, "Dormund 1946" by Westphalian artists in the work physiological institute Dortmund, Rheinland damm 201. While Dortmund was one of the most heavily bombed cities in Germany during World War II with 98% of its buildings destroyed, its future looked uncertain as the photographic images of the artists' examples show in this very rare booklet (only one copy recorded in OCLC). There is a picture of the ruins of Altes Stadhaus and Reinholdkirche which have been rebuilt or restored. Today Westphalia's planning has led to it being described as the "green metropolis"
