The oldest surviving businesses in Scottsdale, Arizona is a family who had a blacksmith shop (still in existence as of 2019). A history of Scottsdale as well as the struggles with the Riata Steakhouse (which lost to upscale housing in North Scottsdale), the Parada del Sol, and many of the well-known customers and friends who made Scottsdale a major city in the Southwest.
