A beautifully printed guide in the original German for the collector of copper plate engravings not only with guides to collecting but also the author has provided only examples on nice heavy paper by Johann Friedrich Kauke, Arthur Henne, Otto Fischer, Paul Vahrenhorst, Georg Erler, and Max Klinger. Each engraving is preceded by a tissue guard which identifies the work and the engraver. Bound in ¾ green leather over stripped paper covered boards, raised bands, spine lettering gilt, with the original light blue wrapper printed in black bound in. A fine copy with just a bit of rubbing to edges.
