28 unnumbered pages with hundreds of photos of the drivers, the records from 1959 to 1962, and the banquet of champions. When the Santa Fe Speedway opened in 1953, it famous stock car racers of the day wanted to compete there. They included three 200-lap long distance events. in 1954 the NASCAR Grand National stock race was held there with Dick Rathman winning the 200-lap race. The Chicago Cubs sports announcer Jack Brickhouse also broadcast the races in the late 1950's. These items rarely survived and are not found on OCLC or NUC. Staple bound in yellow and green pictorial stiff paper wraps lettered in black. A fine copy.
