This is the story of a small Chinese boy who saw air planes of the Japanese but one lucky day an American pilot made an emergency landing close to Yu Lan's home and he ran to meet the pilot and the story tells how his friendship with the pilot. Bound in gray pictorial cloth depicting a young boy holding an airplane blue, spine lettering blue, some toning to covers and endpapers, previous owner's name stamped, in unclipped pictorial dust jacket with a few closed edge tears, chip to foot, tape mend to underside, light foxing.
