The regiment saw service at the Battle of Fort Donelson, the Battle of Shiloh, Sherman's March to the Sea and the Carolinas Campaign. First hand descriptions on Corinth and most a day by day account. 18 chapters with roster following. The first three chapters are out of sequence? It appears this was a binders fault. Bound in publisher's green embossed cloth, spine lettering gilt, occasional scattered foxing, previous owner's name, one front blank missing, wear to corners and spine ends, book is leaning, front inner hinge cracked but holding. A scarce work.
