Author's first work, in two volumes from the library of Carlton and Territa A. Lowenberg, noted Dickinson collectors with their bookplate, with half-titles, 371, 384pp. Adventures on the high seas for a young man of only 13 who believed himself to be Nelson's successor. Bound in 3/4 black polished calf over marbled paper covered boards, spines flat and decorated in gilt, marbled edges. spines faded, inner hinges cracked but holding well.
