Herschel Fenton was a violinist who was given a Strativarius in 1878 and went into the music business selling both instruments and publishing sheet music. Since this price list is undated (but numbered as No. 3), it seems to fall into the circa 1880 period. While he was famous initially for selling find old violins [he offered a Strativarius at $7,000], p.4, violin bows, military instruments, etc. but he was a pioneer in selling electric banjos which today are also highly collected. Some creasing or small edge tears.
