This is the most important book on the genius the power of design from archives with the initial designs to the actors in the finished work of art. There is a foreword by Anjelica Huston. This is a massive work which traces the early days of film (where often the erotic images would not return until the 1960's). It is essential not only for film and fashion history but also the remarkable comments by actors and directors that are found throughout the work. Bound in brown cloth, spine lettering black, covers have finger prints. A very good copy in unclipped pictorial dust jacket.
