Office Pacific Railroad Ex. and Survey: "It has been discovered that in several copies of Vol. 1, of Explorations and Surveys for a Railroad Route from the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean, a signature of the Report of the U.S. Naval Astronomical Expedition, by Lieut. Gillis, has been bound up in place of one of Gov. Stevens's Report from pages 281 to 288. Possessors of volumes thus defective, upon notifying this office will receive copies of the omitted signature. one folio sheet folded in half, with fold marks.
