Ruskin's range of interests and achievements were quite staggering. He wrote on subjects as varied as art, architecture, political economy, education, museology, geology, botany, ornithology, literature, history, and myth. A handsome set bound by Henry Young and Sons in 3/4 dark blue morocco over light blue cloth, raised bands with compartments lettered and decoratively stamped in gilt, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers, a very small bump to edger of upper board near foot of one volume. No names or book plates, near fine.
