There are also 4 news articles laid in pages 36, 56, 88 and 212 all pertaining to George Rector and leaving browned off-setting the paper, also laid in is a folding pamphlet presenting George Rector's appearance at the Milwaukee Road in person at Fisher Department Store and it includes recipes that he will demonstrate. A handsome, near fine copy bound in orange cloth lettered and decorated in black, spine lettering black, top edge orange, in very chipped and worn dust unclipped pictorial dust jacket. From the library of Miss Francis L. Whiting with her signature. After graduation from Vassar. Miss Whiting became assistant statistician for the State Safety Board Olympia, Washington, and when this was enlarged and became the Department of Labor and Industries, she held the position of Secretary, the first woman to hold such an office.
