The present copy is #98 and not signed, 304 pp. translated into English verse by various hands, edited with an introduction and notes by James Laver and the black and white somewhat macabre drawings are by Jacon Epstein. Epstein was a well-known sculptor. This was the first book he had illustrated. A fine bright copy bound in maroon cloth lettered in gilt, spine land top edge gilt, housed within the publisher's maroon paper covered slipcase, spine lettered in g gilt, a few spots of rubbing.
