From the esteemed family library of Mr. M.C. Heath of Heathwood Hall, Columbia, S. Carolina. with a 7 line inscription noting the family history of this set. Some volumes open and others unopened, each volume with a color frontispiece, bound in 3/4 brown morocco over marbled paper covered boards with matching endpapers, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, top edges gilt, volume 1 has a small chip to head. After the death of M[Moses] C. [Chappell] Heath, the mansion was sold and converted into The Heathwood Hall Episcopal School. A very nice set. [OCLC: 367588695].
