Limited to 250 copies. Title page in red and black, Translated into English with an introduction by Henry R. Wagner. In his introduction.....The memorial was printed in Mexico in 1943, in 100 copies, from the original in the library of the University of Texas. The original manuscript was acquired by the University from the late W.B. Stephens. The editor, Vargas Rea, wondered how it came to be in Texas when it should have been in the archives of the Mexican Congress......A near fine copy bound in 1/4 green cloth over decorative green and yellow paper covered boards, paper spine label lettered in red, in a very nice, clean dust jacket with white residue to upper and lower edge from tape or sticker. the boards are bowed, attractive, small bookplate of Tyrus G. Harmsen, a bibliophile and collector. Among his several achievements he served as the Director of Occidental's Book Arts Program from 1986-91 and belonged to the Zamorano and Rounce & Coffin Clubs for printers and bibliophiles. Still quite nice.
