Mutiny on the Bounty ranks first among the stories of the sea, with the living elements of romance, of primal passion and of tragedy, all moving to a happy ending in the Arcadia of Pitcairn Island. The Pandora, a frigate of 24 guns, was commissioned for the purpose of searching for and bringing Capt. Bligh's mutineers home for punishment. A very good copy bound in maroon cloth, spine lettering gilt, top edge gilt, two tiny spots to front board, previous owner's stamped name, some leaves unopened and one open a bit carelessly. A very good copy.
